Step 1 - Take your Book Idea from Confusion to Clarity – Plan to Inspire
If you've ever felt bogged down by the sheer volume of ideas or are unsure about the direction of your book, the first step is to look at what you wish to achieve by having your book.
What do you see your book doing for you?
Some people call this ‘end in mind’ – I don’t like this term as it is NOT the end but the BEGINNING once you have your book achieve something for you.
Step 2 - Knowing what you want your book to do for you, will Uncover EXACTLY what to Write about
One of the primary challenges is often deciding what to include and what to leave out.
So, when you have a clear outcome to be achieved in mind, you know what needs to be in your book and you’ll know what parts of your story or message need not be written about.
Step 3 - Your Book Title is determined by WHO will be reading your Book, and here is why:
Once you have clearly determined what you want your book to do for you, what you want to achieve by having your book, and with this clarity you’ve uncovered the topic of your book, you will know WHO will want to read it.
Having an understanding of who the reader will be gives you the clues and then the clarity of what your book title needs to be.
You see, loads of people use book titles with ‘I experienced this…my journey empowered me that…etc’ –
Sure, the book is about you but you’re writing it for the READER and that needs to be reflected in the book title for it to grab attention.
