Kanika Sinha - Nutrition Coach Kay

Hi, I’m Kanika and I’m a Certified and Licensed Nutrition Coach. Before it became a profession it was a passion that lived in me subconsciously till I had my a-ha moment and realised this is it!

Brought up in a family where my father was an ex-boxer and a fitness freak, it rubbed off on me and kept me super-active in sports and fitness. With his vast plethora of knowledge, he taught me the value of eating right and making food work for you and this formed the basis of my love for Health & Fitness.

Cut-to, Moving to Dubai, UAE happenned soon after I finished school and I found myself in an entirely new country working at the tallest hotel in the world, The Burj Al Arab. This is was an experience that had an immense affect on my journey. Whilst I worked in sales, my free time and weekends were spent reading about nutrition and well-being, I read books about holistic healing, the power of nutrients, cellular health, functional medicine and wanted to know more and more. My career then led me to work with IIR – Institute For International Research where I spent 8 years in the Conference and Exhibitions sector. Events like Occupational Health & Arab Health again piqued my interests towards gaining more knowledge on the human body. Marriage happenned and I went on to have 3 beautiful children. I then chose to be a homemaker as having twins and an energetic toddler kept me on my toes! My love for health & wellness continued as I delved further into research and learning more. I then went on to study it further and did my Certification in Nutrition coaching from Precision Nutrition, the largest Nutrition school in Canada.

Good Health and a thriving body are the birthright of every single person on this planet. I’m a firm believer of ‘Let Food be thy medicine and thy medicine be your food’. Just like happiness, health is an inside job! With this as my motto, I coach women to achieve their best health thru sustainable lifestyle changes by empowering them with the tools and mindset they need to live a balanced life. I work with busy moms, career moms, women who want to improve their health parameters and help them achieve their long-term goals. With Obesity, diabetes, PCOS on the rise, I help them attain wellness through finding food freedom and lifestyle modifications with individualised wellbeing plans curated around their lifestyles.

Remember when you start from scratch, you have already begun! All change begins with a single thought. My dream is for each woman to be able to celebrate her body, in its whole self which is unique to each one us. Every woman should revel in her strength and beauty and be proud of the amazing body that has been given to us.
