Looking for simple ways of living a Sustainable Life - Donate your Hair.

Have you ever thought about where your hair goes once you've had it cut?

Well, most salons/barbers discard hair clippings as 'waste' - so eventually it either goes to landfill or ends up being incinerated.

So, what environmentally-friendly thing can you do with your hair clippings instead?

Option 1. 🌊
DONATE YOUR HAIR TO HELP CLEAN UP OIL SPILLS through a charity called @matteroftrust. You can even donate hairbrush hair!
(Suitable for chemically-treated and virgin hair)

Option 2.🌱
COMPOST YOUR HAIR CLIPPINGS
(Not suitable for chemically-treated hair)

Option 3. 💖
DONATE your hair to @officiallittleprincesstrust They give hair and hope to children with cancer.

All the options above will give your hair a second life and purpose!
AND you’ll be using waste as a resource!♻️
