Meet Preeti Khare an Accomplished MBA, MSA, and Internationally Certified Life and Relationship Coach.

Preeti has empowered individuals, developed leaders, and left a lasting impact.

Let us take you through her enthralling journey as a solopreneur & leader in relationship coaching.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.

I am a MBA, MSA,( USA), and an Internationally certified Life and Relationship Coach. I am the Founder of Enableance, a coaching, mentoring, training, and consulting firm, and President, of the WICCI MP Coaching Council.

I am also a keynote speaker, women mentor at Sales womentoring, India’s first platform for women in sales.

Have you had any formal training or family business?

Yes, I am a Certified coach–ICF-PCC, I am been trained in Emotional Intelligence, NLP, Emotional Freedom Technique and Ho’opponopono.

How did you come up with the idea for your business, and what was the process of turning that idea into a reality?

After coming back from the US in 2017, I started to work as an OD consultant but did not want to work full-time as my children who had come back from the US with me and had never been exposed to the Indian education system needed my support in the beginning here.

It wasn’t easy for me to settle back in India after 15 years of staying abroad and coming and living with a conservative family. I needed mental, emotional support at that time which I apparently did not get.

I certainly needed transformation in a big way so that I do not keep complaining but rather think about what is the best way to get constructively engaged. That’s when I left the consulting job and sat at home for a few months reading aggressively.

Found my answer in coaching and enrolled in the coach training program.

I am a happy and content solopreneur developing leaders and helping individuals and couples with their relationships.

How have you grown as a leader since starting your company, and what have been some of the key lessons you've learned along the way?

There has been tremendous growth since the time I started my business owner’s journey.

I learnt technology, marketing, and entrepreneurship along the way.  Books have been my best friends and Ted talks and Youtube are my source of rapidly increasing knowledge and wisdom.

Can you tell us about a time when you faced a major setback or failure in your business, and how you overcame it?

In my solopreneur journey as a coach, the good thing is that you do not need to invest anything other than the coaching fee as capital is what I thought.

Soon I realised to do well and get leads effortlessly you need to market yourself, get a website made, sustain it, and have some social media person engaged to help you with your videos on Youtube and social media channels.

I worked very hard to learn them and wisely decided to outsource some completely.

How do you stay motivated and focused on your goals, especially during challenging times?

Thankfully my “why“ has been very clear. I wanted to bring this change in career after answering very tough questions to myself.

  1. Why do I want to change from a job to entrepreneurship– My freedom, and time for my children and family has always been very important to me and I have never compromised on it.
  2. I wanted the freedom to decide – The number of hours I want to work, with whom I want to work etc.
  3. I did not want to leave my kids and step out everyday

Motivation comes naturally even in the most challenging times- when you see the impact you are creating, the lives you are touching, and feel blessed each day for the opportunities, the divine is giving you to change lives.

How do you balance your personal life with the demands of running a business?

a) I have created a support system, a person who lives in and helps us take care of major household chores so that I focus on my business.

b) I have been very vocal about the boundaries I wanted to create so that the right expectations are set from me at home.

c) I have trained my kids very well who support me instead of being demanding of me.

d) I devote three hours every day for self-care and learning which keeps me elated.

What are your plans for the future of your business, and how do you see yourself evolving as a founder and leader?

I see my business growing multifolds as a Coach, corporate trainer, a sought after speaker and advisor to some company boards. As a founder-CEO of Enableance, I see my company reaching a different level in 2 years

If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

No matter what the situation turns out to be, there is no substitute for unwavering focus.

What's the most unconventional thing you've done to grow your business, and what was the result?

Start to make videos. I was always quite camera-shy. It raised my followers, raised my popularity quotient, and got me leads for my business.

What's the most important lesson you've learned from a failure, and how have you applied it to your business?

Do not spread your expenses beyond your means. So I try to hire selectively but hire them for sure to spare me the time that I need to focus on the core of business.

What's the most meaningful compliment or feedback you've ever received from a customer, and why did it resonate with you?

  1. “ You have saved my home” ( After a One on one relationship coaching of a couple )
  2. “ You have given us a new birth . We never had seen life so positively” ( After a Group coaching)

If you had to choose one thing that makes your company truly unique and sets it apart from the competition, what would it be, and why?

We really do not worry about fixed time for coaching sessions whether one-one or group. We try to go with the flow. We feel coaching is for the coachee to experience and he/she deserves the best experience and the value for their money and that’s what we strive to offer.
