Co-founder at The Bartan Company (TBC) &

Co-founder at Xomidhan

Ex-Marketing Communications professional with industry exposure in software, manufacturing, travel and advertising, Nidarshana left her corporate career in 2018, to pursue her passion in enabling sustainable lifestyle in Indian cities.

She started The Bartan Company (TBC) - waste reduction organization, along with three other sustainable lifestyle evangelists. TBC offers end to end waste reduction services for events starting from home parties to marriages & marathons.

Nidarshana's lifestyle alternatives products & services brand, The Sustainable Indian (TSI), seeks to make regenerative living affordable & accessible to the mindful urban consumer and in the process, connect them with ethical businesses with the right intent.

TSI Initiatives include:

Maati eco store: Online store selling lifestyle daily essentials. Includes a range of inhouse products

Workshops: Nurturing the eco-system, evangelizing sustainable living through corporate engagements

Mindful Gifting: Breaking into the clutter of corporate and wedding gifting, Nidarshana and her team of three other women entrepreneurs, specialize in “homemades and handmades” curated from home entrepreneurs in the cities and artisans across the country

Nidarshana is deeply influenced by the Permaculture way of natural harmonious coexistence with Nature and dreams of leaving the world greener than when she inherited it.
