Post Covid, Travel brings a positive impact on your mental health

In the era where we all are so busy, with so much to do, so many roles to play and so many duties to adhere to. Taking timely breaks gives us the peace and energy we all require.

Travel gives human a sense of satisfaction in each and every aspect to be close to its Mother Earth and nature. It’s a kind of self esteem as people have started expressing more, thanking more, loving each other more, so much so that even travelling to their work place feels safe now.

Travel has always been a bliss to most of the population around, and especially if I talk about the situation we all have been into since 2020, it’s become quintessential to travel or go on a sabbatical to just focus on our mental health.

Everyone around has given utmost importance to mental health since we have all been hit with Covid-19, people have actually realised that mental health is as important as any disease to our body!! And in order to take the best care of one’s emotions, one’s peace, one’s choices or for that matter; to remain mentally stable, people have started going on vacations to get some positivity in their lives.

They have started confiding in nature (water, hills, greens etc).

People have started investing in their core families, started taking their kids & parents more seriously than ever.

A McKinsey survey reveals travelling to be the second most desired activity among respondents(in first place: dinning out).

Travelling around solo or with your loved ones post covid has been the best thing for us.

If we go back in time, I can say our parents and grandparents use to take the families on vacations and helped us understand the core values, used to teach us lessons and spending that time with everyone around, used to be super refreshing.

Since 2-3 decades, we have gotten ourselves into busy schedule where we had almost forgotten about the peace and positivity we used to enjoy as kids.  But thanks to last 20 months for making us realise how much we need to focus on ourselves and our relationships by taking these travel breaks.

From young kids to adults we all have had times in past months, where we wanted to just laugh out loud or have a silent day. That’s the pressure we all were staying in.

Because of people giving so much importance to travel, domestic and abroad both, tourism industry has hiked like never before.

People across the country have been taking proper measures and vaccinations doses because they can’t miss out on an opportunity which includes travelling.

In a nutshell, travelling has impacted everyone mentally and physically. And post covid, exploring a new place, going to your favourite one, or even going on a long drive will result into positive outcomes.
