It's been a few months since I worked out at a gym and while I do really miss the variation in my workouts, I've been able to get equally challenging strength training sessions at home by simply modifying fundamental exercises.
Focusing on increasing the Time Under Tension with the help of resistance bands, long loop bands, pulses, pausing at the eccentric phase, dumbbells etc. can yield a similar burn working the same muscles as in the gym.
A cracking start to my Monday with a fiery leg workout focused on strengthening the glutes .. legs felt like jelly by the end of it.
Managed to record videos of a few exercises attempted today:
1.Banded hip thrust
2.DB banded sumo squat with abduction
3.Banded Bulgarian split squat
4. Banded Reverse Frog Pumps
5.Alternating Reverse lunges with hip extensions
Did 4 - 5 additional exercises too as part of supersets to keep the tension going and increasing the number of sets.
Hope these videos will come handy to those of you who are looking to shake things up a little vis a via your home workouts.
