Sommya Jain a renowned social media influencer

Some people are here to create an impactful and inspirational life. Sommya Jain is one of them. She has made her dream come true by tackling the hurdles and circumstances that her life had for her. Today, she is what she visioned herself to be in her teens. Words will fall short to praise her bravery and commitment towards achieving her goals.

Talking about this brave girl who has won millions of hearts is a born dancer. She had been dancing her heart out since she was four years old but later in life, she was diagnosed with Haemangioma. A manufacturing defect of the body that leads to blood vessels appearing on the surface of the skin. She had to spend her entire teenage in the beds of hospitals undergoing medical surgeries and procedures like Angiography. It was mentally draining and exhausting for her but she didn’t lose hope. Her parents played a vital role in helping her stay positive and pull through her fears.

Her parents would always take her out on community functions to enjoy what she loved the most, dance and that’s the reason she wanted to overcome the rough patch of her life and get back to being her true self. Sommyas parents called her “sherni”, meaning lioness like she is. She struggled with life and death for almost 14 years and her willingness to get back on track helped her immensely.

But life was not easy for her, once she went for an interview with her best friend with a resume strong enough for the position she was applying for. After a few days, she got a call from her friend stating she got the job, but Sommya did not. At this moment, she was heartbroken. She called the manager to ask the reason for the same. The manager replied " as it is a desk job, you have to be presentable enough with good looks". Hearing this, Sommya was shocked, got hit with the reality of the world. This was the moment she decided that she wanted society to get rid of this bitter truth where looks are given more priority than what the person really is from the inside. She wanted society to look at the person’s education, qualification, talent, caliber, and skills and not at how they look.

Sommya never lost faith in herself and the talent she owns. She knew that she was here for a purpose and she will make the most of it. She believed that she is the most gorgeous girl in the world. Even when 80% of her face was disfigured and even today when her face is better with several plastic surgeries. Her goal is to grow day by day and spread positivity.

Today, Sommya is doing what she loves the most. She is a great dancer and has won the social media platform by her graceful moves. She was also recently praised by Madhuri Dixit on her Instagram video. She is a renowned Instagram influencer today with her videos hitting around a million views.

Giving us a message of loving ourselves just the way we are because god has created us in a certain way for a reason and we should be comfortable in our own skin. She also teaches us that real beauty is on the inside and not on the outside.
