The 12 Best Christmas Movies on Netflix in 2021


The best time of the year is here, jingles all the way, cakes in the oven and yes, those comfort Christmas movies on our TV screens. So make some hot chocolate and grab some popcorn as we are here with the season’s best movie recommendations.

 

1. A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

It’s the third part of a three-part series where you’ll see a comedy theme all around. The two main characters do crazy things in the movie and go on fun adventures. They burn down a Christmas tree and more things that are completely insane. This movie will surely make you laugh.

 

2. A Very Murray Christmas

This is a meta Netflix comedy where you’ll see Murray cancel his Christmas special what happens next is a treat to see. There’s a lot of drinking in this movie so might not be the best Christmas movies for kids on Netflix. Nonetheless, it is a fun watch so you’re definitely going to enjoy it.

 

3. Angela's Christmas

This one is a short film you can watch with your kids. A simple story which nominated for awards, your little ones will enjoy this one a lot. 

 

4. Home Alone

A movie where a kid has left home alone while his family goes on a trip to Paris for Christmas. He involves a lot of traps as burglars try to get into the house watch the movie to know what happens next.

 

5. How The Grinch Stole The Christmas

People from the Whosvile get very excited for Christmas every year. The Grinch, a green creature hates the holiday and the whos (citizens) of  Whosvile dislike him because of his mean demeanour especially during the holidays but a bit of kindness from little Cindy Lou Who and her family makes the grinch realise his mistakes.

 

6. Christmas Inheritance

Jim Langford, a business executive from Manhattan is about to retire. He is concerned that his daughter Ellen is too immature to inherit his company and fortune. Her father sends her to a small English town to test her but her perspective about her life and her privileges is changed.

 

7. Last Christmas

Kate an aspiring singer works as an elf at a year-round Christmas shop. Her life takes a 180 when she meets a guy named Tom outside of her year-round Christmas shop.

 

8. Klaus

Jesper Johanssen is a son of a royal postmaster. He also is very lazy and his father sends him to a remote land to deliver 6000 letters within a year or he will be cut off from the family inheritance. There he meets Klaus.

 

9. Holidate

Sloane Benson is a young woman from Chicago and dislikes holidays as her family always judges her for not having a date or a boyfriend during the holiday. She then meets Jackson and he decides to be a Holidate to avoid attachments.

 

10. Christmas With A View

A ski resort restaurant manager, Clara Garrison, who is still recovering from a business failure finds her world to be entangled with a celebrity chef, Shane Roarke, who is named to be the new head chef at the same ski resort.

 

11. The Christmas Chronicle

A very dreamy story about a sister and a brother Kate and Teddy who plan on catching Santa Claus on camera and the whole journey turns out to be of unexpected events.

 

12. A Boy Called Christmas

In this story of a loyal pet mouse and a reindeer go on an unexpected adventure. The story is comic and this movie proves that nothing is impossible.
