Are you doubting your ability to write that book you've thought about writing?
So often wonderful, knowledgeable women in business wish to write a book but are faced with doubts about their ability to do so, whether it's the fear of rejection or uncertainty about its impact...
Are you one of them?
What if you didn't assume that you "don't have anything valuable to say" or "aren't skilled enough as a writer" or "won't make a difference in people's lives"?
I used to have these kinds of self-limiting beliefs about my ability to write a book.
And then I would see others proudly sharing their published works.
Often, they had taken the leap and shared their unique perspectives, which does not require you to be a professional writer.
What if, instead, you considered that one of two things could be happening?
You may not have fully tapped into the power of your story and message, not realizing how it can resonate with others who need to hear it.
or
You have a compelling story and valuable knowledge, but you need guidance on how to craft and communicate it effectively to reach and inspire your intended audience.
In my experience, both of these challenges are common among even well established, successful women in business. Even those who are confident and have great ideas often hesitate to get started, raising the excuse of not having enough time to write!
Writing a book is easy when you let go of OUTDATED writing ideas!
Times have changed, people want to know about your solutions to their problems in business so, stepping out of your comfort zone, taking that leap, like you did when you started your business, you'll discover the unique value you bring to the table by writing your book.
It takes no more than employing the art of telling your story and effectively conveying your ideas to engage and captivate readers.
So, here's my message, twofold:
First, recognize that you have the power to create a book that resonates deeply with readers and makes a lasting impact, as the successful woman in business that you are.
It starts with a plan and focus on what you want your book to help you achieve.
Second, grant yourself grace if you haven't started or completed your book yet, as the journey, using the traditional way of writing, is indeed challenging.
Many aspiring authors intending to write a business-related book never reach the finish line.
Why?
Because they write without a CLEAR reason of what they want to achieve with their book.
You see, my first book took 8 months to write and then I paid a huge amount to a ghost writer to add some more because I had ENOUGH of writing, only to throw away the lot and start all over again!
And then, after my second book, I developed my strategic book writing framework, custom-built for busy, successful women with a message, so running a business and writing your book isn't a problem, because having a book to your name, is So VALUABLE.
And, thirdly: Reach out to me if you need support.
Because I've discovered the strategies to help you uncover the true potential of your story, find your unique voice, and craft a book that will inspire and empower readers. Even if you've attempted to start this journey before and encountered setbacks.
If you would like to know what you might be missing out on by NOT writing your Book NOW, I'm happy to share my report, Top 3 Reasons to write a BOOK to help you see the value you offer to clients.
